The Connecticut River Artisan Group will be sponsoring this year's Moose Festival Art Show,

to be held during the 18th Annual Moose Festival, on August 28, 2009, in Colebrook, NH.

The event will take place at the Jenkins and Newman Funeral Home, with exhibitors displaying their work

both outside on the lawn, and in the barn. The Art Show will be begin at 2:00 PM, and

end at 7:30 PM. Regional artists and artisans are invited to participate. Please read the

information below, for details on how to register.

Artists and Artisans:

ARRIVAL AND BREAKDOWN: See times listed below for artists exhibiting either inside or outside.

PARKING: Available in back of the barn at the funeral home. Exit is by the driveway nearest the Big Apple convenience store.

SECURITY: Please plan to stay with your work or ask a designated person to be responsible.

Visual artists and artisans from throughout the region are invited to participate. Registration is required, and

should be submitted no later than August 11, 2009, along with the non-refundable $15.00

registration fee.

Space is available both outside and inside, but is somewhat limited, and will be assigned on a

first come, first serve basis, prior to the event. If all spaces have been filled, your registration fee

will be returned.

If they choose, participants may have biographical information included in a brochure distributed at the art show. Individuals should include a brief (no more than 150 words) description of their background, work and accomplishments for the brochure.

Inside Artists:

Inside artists and artisans may arrive for set up between 12:00pm - 1:30 pm. Inside spaces are approx. 6' wide X 6' vertical. All

visual works should be framed, with a wire hanger. Matted prints & note cards, featuring your original work may be displayed in an appropriate print rack, table top container, or basket. Please supply your own small tables and chairs. Storage under tables should be hidden by table clothes or other appropriate method. Artists or a representative must remain with the works; limited assistance is available. The driveways entering the JFH will be closed to vehicles at approx. 1:00 pm. Parking is available behind the funeral home.

Outside Artists and Artisans:

Artists exhibiting outside may arrive for set up between 10:00 am - 12:00pm. Outside spaces will be approx. 10' x 10'. Participants may work on a piece of art and will need to provide their own tent and exhibition equipment. All visual works should be framed or at least matted. Storage under tables should be hidden by table clothes or other appropriate method. Matted prints & note cards, featuring your original work may be displayed in an appropriate print rack, table top container, or basket. Artists or a representative must remain with the works; limited assistance is available. Vehicles should be moved as promptly as possible after unloading. Parking is available behind the funeral home.

ALL Artists:

Artists may begin breakdown at 7:30 pm. The parade begins at 7:30 pm; so artists may not be able to enter the property with vehicles after 7:15 pm, and cannot exit until after 8:00 pm. Please have spaces cleared by 9:00 pm. All participating artists will be asked to sign a release of liability form included with the registration form.
