MOOSE FESTIVAL ART SHOW INFORMATION

This annual downtown art show is an opportunity for experienced and emerging visual artists and artisans residing in the Great North Woods region to come share their talents in downtown Colebrook during the 19th annual Moose Festival.

Initiated by the Colebrook Downtown Development Association in 2002, the event is now under the direction of the Connecticut River Artisan Group (CRAG). CRAG is a "grass roots" organization consisting of visual artists and artisans from the Great North Woods region. The group promotes the arts and provides logistical and moral support to new and established artists and artisans in the region.

Please Note:

* Registration fees are non-refundable and required with registration.

* Paintings must be matted and framed. Matted prints and note cards of original work may be displayed in an appropriate display container.

* Each work must clearly be labeled with the artist's/artisan's name, medium used, and name of the piece.

* Participants must provide their own tables, chairs, and display equipment.

* Electricity is not available.

* Storage under tables should be hidden by cloths or other such method.

* Spaces are limited, on a first-come, first-served basis, and are assigned prior to the event. Please, note any special needs or requests on form.

* Set-up is Friday from 10:00 am to noon for outside exhibitors and from noon to 1:30 pm for individuals exhibiting inside.

* Please do not break down your space until 7:30 pm. All participants must clear and clean up their spaces by 9:00 pm.

* Exhibits must be attended at all times. Limited assistance is available.

* Individual sales are at each exhibitor's discretion.

* Agreement to participate includes compliance with including, but not limited to: No smoking anywhere in the building or on the grounds; No use or possession of alcoholic beverages; and to reimburse the Tillotson Arts Center for any expense incurred in cleaning, loss or repair determined to be due to the participant's actions or participation.

* PARKING: From Main Street Colebrook, please use the driveway behind the center on Pleasant Street adjacent to Daniel Hebert Plumbing. After unloading, artists may park in the parking lot on Pleasant Street.

I have read the participant information and agree to honor the Art Show guidelines in good faith. I understand that if I do not honor these guidelines, I may be asked to leave the event and will not be allowed to participate in future CRAG events.

I agree that any work shall be displayed at my own risk. I shall be responsible for my activities and those of my agents or employees and shall hold the Connecticut River Artisan Group or any organization involved with the Moose Festival harmless from any and all claims for damages and injuries to persons and properties which shall arise at the Art Show to be held August 26, 2011.
